being an black dude who reads comics often, and practically grew up with Spawn and Bishop as staples in my collection, i gotta say, all these spots are more than well deserved. i’m happy someone did something like this.

i love Wes Anderson. i love these 2 actor/ress. and i personally just think that this is one of the best shorts ever created, and makes the Darjeeling Limited so two fold, like if you see it without thinking about Hotel Chevalier, but then watch it while actively aware of it you know? pure genius.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, he’ll play a a struggling thirtysomething writer with a drinking problem in Brooklyn who, following a painful breakup with his girlfriend, decides to emulate his heroes from the novels of Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett. He takes out an ad pretending to be a private detective and starts taking cases — solving some and making others worse.

updated my muxtape. i must admit its a little heavier than most of my previous ones, and i really don’t like to turn off or alienate the 14 people who say they are ‘fans’ of my thingy, but i wanna be honest with what i listen to, you know? i also really do like where muxtape is taking things with the site, they make really subtle yet dynamic changes that don’t fuck with the essence of the site, and i really enjoy that.

okay so yeah, i mean, personally, i’ve been listening to NIN’s The Slip alot recently, its a pretty good album. HOWEVER, all of you should watch the first 10-15 seconds of this video, so you can see how COOL this fucking shit is. like seriously, you really don’t want one? just watch it. i also would like to have the higher quality pitchfork.tv version of it up, but for some reason they felt like moving to a new server today.

this little bugger is already number 6 on the IMDB top 250, and boy is it well deserved. he made me laugh, cry, laugh, cry again, and just turn my heart and emotions in so many ways. and he’s a GOD DAMN robot. seriously, a masterpiece of filmmaking not only for animation, but for just film in general. geez, ever since Ratatouille, Pixar has SERIOUSLY been stepping up their game, but this just sends them into the stratosphere. seriously. i love him.
